AtlantiCare Urgent Care Clementon
Center is AtlantiCare’s 10th in state;
third in Camden County

Details:     AtlantiCare, a member of Geisinger Health System, will hold a ribbon cutting, reception and open house for AtlantiCare Urgent Care Center Clementon, which opened February 8. Jatin Motiwal, vice president, AtlantiCare Physician Group; Steven Blumberg, senior vice president, AtlantiCare Health Solutions; and John Ruskey, DO, medical director, AtlantiCare Urgent Care, will give brief remarks.

Staff will give tours of the 3,600-square-foot facility, which includes

  • Reception area
  • Children’s waiting section
  • Coffee bar
  • Six patient examination rooms, including eye, ear, pediatric, suture, orthopaedic and OB/GYN rooms, which also serve as general examination rooms.
  • X-ray suite
  • Centralized nursing station.

AtlantiCare Urgent Care Center Clementon serves patients seven days a week, including holidays, from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. for diagnosis and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries. Staff includes board-certified physicians, registered nurses, X-ray technologists and customer service associates. No appointment is necessary, but appointments can be booked online by visiting or; or using the free ZocDoc app for iPhone and Android, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

AtlantiCare opened its flagship Urgent Care Center in Egg Harbor Township in 2002. The Clementon site, AtlantiCare’s tenth, is its third in Camden County. Other locations are Berlin and Sicklerville in Camden County; Galloway, Hammonton and Somers Point in Atlantic County; Marmora in Cape May County; Mount Laurel in Burlington County; and Little Egg Harbor in Ocean County.

AtlantiCare’s Urgent Care Team has treated patients ranging in age from 12 days to 101 years, one of whom hailed from as far away as Hille, Germany. In 2003, its first full year of operations, AtlantiCare Urgent Care had approximately 8,100 patient visits. There were 112,000 patient visits across AtlantiCare Urgent Care sites in 2015. This year, it anticipates having more than 130,000 patient visits across its sites.
