AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center (ARMC) staff, providers and leaders donned festive holiday attire to visit and sing to patients, their families, visitors, and staff this week. They strolled through public and patient areas; from hallways, to patient rooms, lobbies to office areas; spreading wishes for happy holidays and a healthy, happy New Year.
ARMC Mainland Campus’s team visited patients Thursday, December 22. The hospital’s City Campus team made holiday rounds Friday, December 23. AtlantiCare’s annual holiday rounding capped four weeks of holiday visits by community organizations and agencies since Thanksgiving.
AtlantiCare also continued its holiday tradition of giving through its Holiday Gift Sharing Program; collecting and distributing essential items for homeless; a leadership donation to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey Southern Branch; and other donations.
“We are privileged to witness our community’s and our staff’s compassion and dedication to caring for others,” said Robyn Begley, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, vice president of Nursing and chief nursing officer, AtlantiCare. “We thank the many individuals and organizations – and our AtlantiCare providers and staff – for the generosity they have shown this season and all year long.”
