Details: AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center (ARMC) will host “Navigating the Transition from Medical Resident to Attending Physician” Thursday, March 30, National Doctor’s Day, for AtlantiCare providers and staff. Part of ARMC’s regular Schwartz Rounds™, these multidisciplinary sessions give providers and staff the opportunity to discuss social, emotional and other topics related to providing patient care.
Aileen Hochbo, M.D., FACP, associate program director, Internal Medicine Residency, AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, will lead the discussion as guest moderator. Panelists will include ARMC hospitalists Danish Abbasi, M.D., and Tayyaba Salman, M.D. Salman will conference in via video from ARMC Mainland campus, where a joint session will be taking place
“Rounds can enhance communication and promote teamwork among caregivers,” said Marilouise Venditti, vice president and chief medical officer, AtlantiCare.
A national program with sites across the country, Schwartz Rounds were created by the Kenneth B. Schwartz Center, a Boston-based nonprofit dedicated to advancing compassionate healthcare. AtlantiCare is a Schwartz Center healthcare member organization.
