AtlantiCare is ready to assist community during

Health Insurance Marketplace open enrollment period

AtlantiCare’s certified financial counselors are ready to assist the community in enrolling in health insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace during open enrollment, November 1 through December 15.

AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s (ARMC) Financial Services Team and AtlantiCare Health Services, a federally qualified health center, are providing education and assisting people applying for coverage for themselves and/or families. This includes those who need assistance in enrolling in coverage through the federal Health Insurance Marketplace and those who qualify for NJ FamilyCare - New Jersey's publicly funded health insurance program - including CHIP, and Medicaid. AtlantiCare also continues to help those who qualify apply for the New Jersey Hospital Care Payment Assistance Program, also known as Charity Care.

“There is a shorter enrollment period than there had been in previous years,” said Paul Mesgleski, Financial Counseling Services manager, AtlantiCare. “We recommend community members who want to enroll do so early so they can get coverage for 2018.”

AtlantiCare is assisting the community in enrolling for Health Insurance Marketplace in many ways by:

  • Doing community outreach and education about enrollment at request of community groups and organizations.
  • Assisting patients and other members of the community in enrolling in coverage by phone and in person at three AtlantiCare locations.
  • Promoting the importance of health insurance coverage through social and traditional media.
  • Providing enrollment information through traditional and social media.

Community members can walk in or call 1-888-569-1000 to make an appointment to meet with an AtlantiCare certified application counselor at the following locations:
