In recognition of National Diabetes Month, AtlantiCare will host a free Health & Wellness Fair on Saturday, November 14 at the AtlantiCare LifeCenter, 2500 English Creek Avenue, Building 200, Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey from 9 a.m. to noon.
Hell’s Kitchen Season 13 Winner, Chef La Tasha McCutchen, is scheduled to attend the event, which is open to the public. McCutchen will be available for questions and pictures.
Cooking demonstrations will begin at 11 a.m. in the Community Meeting Room on the first floor of the LifeCenter, led by Chef Brianna Manning of Kitchen 19 Creative Culinary Center in Hammonton, NJ. AtlantiCare’s diabetes education program currently partners with Kitchen 19 to host bi-monthly Diabetes Cooking Classes. McCutchen will discuss healthy cooking options for those in attendance.

The fair will also include free giveaways, gift baskets, great raffles, a photo booth, and refreshments. Vendors will offer information on glucose monitors and other diabetes products.
About Chef La Tasha McCutchen
McCutchen has been working as a chef in a professional kitchen for more than 10 years. Her passion for cooking started back home in Lake City, SC where she would cook for her family with her late grandmother. It was a little later on when she started working as a waitress that she realized that she was destined to cook. After attending South Carolina State University for some time, McCutchen decided to attend Horry Georgetown Technical College in Conway, SC where she earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Culinary Arts. McCutchen then relocated to Florida and attended Johnson and Wales University, earning a second Culinary Arts associate’s degree. She has since worked at an array of hotels, county clubs, and was Hell’s Kitchen Season 13 winner. McCutchen is currently working at Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant in Atlantic City as the head restaurant chef.
About Chef Brianna Lee Manning (“Chef Bri”)
Manning has worked as chef for over 10 years. She was in active duty in the United States Coast Guard for four years as a food service specialist with duties as a barista, baker, and hot foods line cook. As a hot foods major at Atlantic Cape Community College in Mays Landing, NJ, she received her associate’s degree in Applied Science in Culinary Arts. At home, she enjoys gardening, nutritional therapy, organics, DIY natural home and skin care products, outdoor exercise activities, and brewing kombucha tea.
