The Healthcare Planning & Marketing Society of New Jersey (HPMSNJ) recently selected AtlantiCare, a member of Geisinger Health System, as the 2015 Percy Award recipient for Best Hospital Marketing Campaign. The PeRCy Award recognizes excellence in healthcare planning, marketing and public relations campaigns in the Garden State. The category awards campaigns that promote a hospital, a specific service line or a program.
AtlantiCare’s winning campaign features patient and employee testimonials to promote its brand, “Healthcare you can believe in.” In an effort to discover how the health system’s brand experience makes people feel, AtlantiCare sought help from its physicians, staff, board members and patients—to represent the system in the most authentic way.
“Our brand has always been strong, promising to take you well into the future,” says Rene Bunting, vice president of Marketing and Communications for AtlantiCare. “But we wanted to know if there was more we could say about our brand experience today. The new brand theme expresses what we heard from our community. Everyone believes in AtlantiCare; our employees believe passionately in what they do, and our patients believe deeply in the way we care.”
The campaign, developed with Wilmington-based agency ab+c Creative Intelligence, includes television, print, outdoor, radio and online advertising. It also featured branded hand sanitizer stations at Atlantic City International Airport.
