ABH is southeastern New Jersey's largest provider of mental health, substance use/addiction recovery services, and family care social services. With 17 locations throughout the region, ABH offers a broad range of services to help individuals and their families with serious mental illnesses, anxieties relating to school or job stress, and marriage counseling services.
ABH also provides employee assistance programs for area employers, which include employee counseling services, behavioral health wellness programs and critical incident debriefing services. ABH manages the 30-bed psychiatric inpatient program located at the Mainland Campus of AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center and a psychiatric crisis intervention program at ARMC's Atlantic City campus.
As Atlantic City's first hospital, our tradition of healthcare excellence began over 100 years ago. Now a prestigious teaching hospital with campuses in Atlantic City and Pomona, ARMC has expanded to meet the growing healthcare needs of one of New Jersey's fastest growing communities. The home of the region's only cardiac surgery program, Level II Trauma Center, neonatal intensive care unit, and bariatric surgery program, as well as the region's most comprehensive cancer center and joint institute, ARMC is the most respected healthcare resource in our region.
From our teaching hospitals to our childcare centers to our health insurance plans, AtlantiCare's programs and services blanket our community with care. Such a diverse range of services also means endless opportunities for career change and career advancement.
AtlantiCare believes that each of us can make a difference one individual at a time; and by doing so, build healthy
communities. As an organization, we are confident we have the leadership, talent, resources and most importantly, the commitment to act as the catalyst in what we refer to as the Epidemic of Health (EOH) to produce truly healthy
communities here at the Jersey Shore and our region.
AtlantiCare is a company you can be proud to work for.
“AtlantiCare is not a typical business. It is a partnership of 5,000 people, with each and every one contributing unique talents and skills. AtlantiCare has thousands of employees, hundreds of services, and scores of locations, but we have just one purpose -- to care for our community.”
Lori Herndon, President & CEO, AtlantiCare
