AtlantiCare Storm Update
AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center will suspend visiting hours at its Atlantic City Campus in Atlantic City and Mainland Campus in Pomona as of 4 p.m. today due to the State of Emergency in New Jersey.
Both campuses and ARMC’s Satellite Emergency Department in Hammonton will continue to provide quality care and to ensure patients are safe and comfortable. Staff are arriving early for shifts and preparing to stay past their shifts as needed.
ARMC has postponed elective procedures and dialysis treatments scheduled for tomorrow. The AtlantiCare HealthPlex in Atlantic City; AtlantiCare Behavioral Health Outpatient Services throughout the region; Pavilion OB/GYN in Egg Harbor Township; and Medical Oncology and Infusion Services at the AtlantiCare Cancer Care Institute, a Fox Chase Cancer Center Partner, in Egg Harbor Township will be closed tomorrow. The Cancer Care Institute will provide Radiation Oncology services for patients whose treatment cannot be delayed.
AtlantiCare’s Hospice and HomeCare Teams have been working with patients and families since last week to ensure they have the care they need.
AtlantiCare’s corporate and administrative offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
ARMC’s Emergency Medical Services teams are providing support at various shelters as requested by emergency management officials.
