Patients at the AtlantiCare Cancer Center Institute, a Fox Chase Cancer Center Partner, celebrated AtlantiCare’s Cancer Survivors’ Week June 3 through 7. An extension of National Cancer Survivors Day®, which this year fell on Sunday, June 2, AtlantiCare’s Cancer Survivors’ Week honored patients and their families as they visited the Center for treatment. Thursday, June 6 – Bloomin’ Day - staff shared potted Gerber daisies with them. Other daily gifts or treats included tote bags, tee-shirts, frozen yogurt (sponsored by Gilda's Club South Jersey), massages, water ice and soft pretzels.
