AtlantiCare Physician Group (APG) now offers online scheduling for its Primary Care Plus and Specialty Care providers. The free service, powered by ZocDoc, which also encourages patients to rate providers, is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
“Patients have told us that they’d like the option to schedule appointments online,” said Jatin Motiwal, vice president, AtlantiCare Physician Group. “We are committed to helping patients conveniently access the care they need when they need it. By showing our providers’ availability in real time, and making appointments instantly accessible online, we are reducing wait times for patients and increasing efficiency for our providers. We are also committed to quality and transparency, which is why we invite and encourage our patients to rate our providers.”
How online scheduling works
To use the service, patients visit www.atlanticaredoctors.com or use the free ZocDoc app for iPhone and Android, 24 hours a day, seven days a week to:
The AtlantiCare Access Center Team continues to assist people in finding providers and scheduling appointments via phone at 1-888-569-1000 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Team members respond to requests as quickly as possible, normally within the first 24 hours. Patients can also choose to book appointments in the office or by calling the office directly.
