Before you enroll in our surgical weight loss program, you and your support person (your spouse, a family member or a friend who you choose) must take part in a free, comprehensive Pre-surgery Educational Seminar. If you attend a live seminar, you will take this test at your final preoperative appointment. Since weight loss surgery is a life-altering event, we want patients to fully understand the procedure and its implications.
After passing the written test, you may register for the program by completing an application in our Patient Portal or by calling the surgeon's office directly. This will provide AtlantiCare surgeons with general information regarding your medical, family and diet history.
