Joseph Reilly, PharmD returns again by popular demand to present clinical challenges in lipid management. His powerful teaching style and great sense of humor helps
any learner comprehend complex topics. He has been described by his students as an “unforgettable teacher”.

Melanie L Chichester BSN, RNC, a well known speaker on topics of women and pregnancy, will discuss cardiac emergencies and complex cardiac care in pregnant women.

Theresa Rowe MSN, CRNP, a dynamic and passionate speaker, will share her experiences working with patients utilizing cardiac supportive circulatory devices.

Vineshkumar Patel, MD FACC and Chad Bousanti, RSC will share their expertise on echocardiography. Learn echo basics and the identification of valvular abnormalities and ventricular dysfunction.

James Dralle, MD, the top cardiac surgeon in southern New Jersey, will share his experience in managing the complex cardiac surgery patient. He is known for audience participation and incorporating pictures and video into his interactive presentation.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

    • Discuss the management of cardiac emergencies that can occur in pregnant women.
    • Explore clinical challenges in Lipid Management.
    • Examine the role of mechanical cardiac assist devices for management of advanced Heart Failure.
    • Identify normal and abnormal valvular and ventricular function seen by echocardiogram.
    • Recognize common complications that can occur in complex cardiac surgery patients.
