The Neurosciences Institute at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center (ARMC) invites you to the Seventh Annual Regional Neurosciences Conference and State of the Art Stroke Summit. The conference will discuss advances and new technologies in comprehensive stroke and neurological and neurosurgical care. Covering seven specialty areas within the field of neurosciences, the two day regional conference provides an elaborate learning experience on topics ranging from neuro oncology, stroke neurology, spine, endovascular neurosurgery, tele-neurology, neurological critical care, and pediatric neurology. The program also includes a survivor story told by a neuro critical care advanced nurse practitioner who endured a life threatening neurological condition prior to working in the field. Improving patient outcomes for stroke requires a multifaceted approach across the continuum, from the pre-hospital setting up to and including rehabilitation. The summit is designed to improve the knowledge, competence and performance of healthcare providers engaged in the daily care of patients who suffer from stroke and stroke-related conditions and diseases, in order to prevent a gap in knowledge about existing information and technology.
