AtlantiCare opens new infusion center

AtlantiCare cut the ribbon on its new outpatient infusion center in Egg Harbor Township this week. The AtlantiCare Physician Group Infusion Center team provides infusions and injections ranging from immunotherapy to hydration to therapeutic phlebotomy services.
AtlantiCare has long provided cancer and non-cancer-related infusion services, including at its Cancer Care Institute locations in Egg Harbor Township and Cape May Court House. The new center specifically focuses on increasing access to quality, convenient care for those who have non-cancer healthcare needs who require infusion and related therapies. It features:
- 10 private infusion bays, each with a television and heated recliner
- Two exam rooms
- An on-site pharmacy
- A soothing atmosphere with calming colors
- More than 25 pieces of regional artwork through AtlantiCare’s Healing Arts Program
- Free, accessible parking
- On-site insurance authorization services
The care team includes physicians, pharmacists, advanced practice nurses, certified nurses and other clinical and support staff.
The center is located in the AtlantiCare Health Park on English Creek Avenue and is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. Patients need a referral from their healthcare provider.
