About Me
Gina Steinberg cares for adults with long-term conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, lung diseases and high cholesterol – plus flu, sore throat and other short-term illness.

Driven by a passion for education and caring for others, Gina earned her Doctor of Nursing practice, Master of Science in nursing and her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Widener University, Chester, Pa. She is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
\n\n
She started her career working in Philadelphia-area university hospitals and long term care facilities. She also worked as a school nurse with the Philadelphia School District. But her zeal for preventive care – keeping people out of the hospital – propelled her to go back to school to further her education and extend her skill set. Gina then worked caring for underserved and uninsured communities with the Philadelphia Department of Health, a non-profit that provides clinic care in the city.

Gina treats her patients like family. “I focus on developing a relationship with each patient. Together, we make a plan, based on shared decisions, individualized to improve health,” she says.
\n\n
She says education is the key to long-term health. “If you give a person a fish, they will eat for a day. If you teach a person to fish, you feed them for life,” she says, of her favorite saying.
