About Me
Vinesh Patel, M.D., FACC, joined AtlantiCare in 2005 and is among the founding members of AtlantiCare Physician Group Cardiology. He is one of the few cardiologists in the area to have completed advanced fellowship training in echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography, as well as fellowship training in nuclear cardiography. Within the specialty of clinical cardiology, Dr. Patel has a focused interest in preventative medicine to help ensure patients maintain the optimal level of health and wellness. His passion for preventative medicine prompted him to establish a cardiovascular rehabilitation program based upon the principles of the Ornish Reversal Program. He also has established a niche for women’s health, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy, and arrhythmia management.
Dr. Patel graduated from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 1994 and completed his post-doctoral residency in internal medicine at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a member of the American Society of Echocardiography, and a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiography. In addition, Dr. Patel is board certified in cardiovascular disease by the American College of Cardiology and board certified in echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology by the American Society
of Echocardiography.
