Dr. Ong is director of Orthopaedic Surgery at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, he specializes in the knee and hip joints. “Our patients are the most important part of our practice. Dr. Ong graduated with honors from University of Pennsylvania and earned his M.D. at SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine. He completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Penn, where he served as Academic Chief. He completed an orthopaedic trauma fellowship at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina and a hip and knee replacement fellowship at Rothman. He has held leadership positions in the Jefferson Orthopedic Society, the AtlantiCare Annual Trauma Symposium and the AtlantiCare Perioperative Steering Committee. He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Arthroplasty and the Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery and Research. He has been named “Top Doc” many times, both by Inside New Jersey Magazine and Philadelphia Magazine. “Our strength lies in knowledge, innovation and expertise.
