Julianne W Childs, DO

Julianne Wilkins Childs, DO, FACOI, is a medical oncologist on staff at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital and Shore Memorial Hospital, and also works in private practice. Dr. Childs received her medical degree from the University of health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri and completed her internship at Seminole Community Medical Center in Seminole, Florida. During her postdoctoral training, Dr. Childs completed a surgical residency at Delaware Valley Medical Center and an internal medicine residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. There she also completed a Fellowship in hematology/oncology. Dr. Childs also completed fellowship training rotations radiation oncology, bone marrow transplantation, and medical oncology at Hahnemann University Hospital, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Cooper University Hospital and Jefferson University Hospital. She is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists. Dr. Childs is a Clinical Instructor in hematology at the UMDNJ School of Osteopathic Medicine. She has published articles in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association, and has lectured on such topics as breast cancer prevention, bioethics, pain management, non-small cell lung cancer and much more. Dr. Childs is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and the Oncology Physicians Network, among others. She has served as a principal investigator for many clinical trials.
