About Me
Saugato Sanyal, M.D., M.B.A., FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist that brings more than 30 years of patient care experience to the AtlantiCare provider team. His areas of subspecialty include echocardiography, pacemaker and implantable cardiac devices (ICD) management, and transesophageal echocardiography,
\nincluding three-dimensional echo.In addition, through his specialized training and experience in internal medicine and nephrology, Dr. Sanyal has expertise in caring for patients with advanced heart failure who also have kidney problems.
\nAfter earning his Doctor of Medicine degree in India, Dr. Sanyal completed a residency in internal medicine at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He then joined fellowship training in nephrology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 2003, Dr. Sanyal earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. In 2003, he also joined the cardiology fellowship program at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York and completed this training in 2006.
