About Me
What I like most about working in OB/GYN is the opportunity to follow a woman throughout her entire life from her first routine visit, to delivering her children, and seeing her for post-menopausal care. I focus on involving patients as active participants in their care and make sure to address specific issues and answer questions during every office visit. Marissa Magid, D.O., ACOOG, specializes in women's health care and wellness as a specialist provider with AtlantiCare Physician Group OB/GYN. A native of southern New Jersey, Dr. Magid earned her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, New Jersey, where she served as chief resident from 2011-2013. Dr. Magid is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition, she is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
