Employee Resource Groups

Employee Resource Groups (ERG's) are a part of AtlantiCare's commitment to diversity and inclusion. AtlantiCare supports the group's initiatives to create and sustain an inclusive and engaged work environment where all differences are valued, respected, and celebrated. ERGs are also committed to enhancing the delivery of our healthcare services for our diverse community. The groups are formed around common interests but are open to all employees.

ALMA (AtlantiCare Latinos Moving Ahead)

Purpose Statement: ALMA engages and empowers our organization by advancing the cultural awareness and education in the compassionate care of our community.

APEG (Asian Pacific Employee Group)

Purpose Statement: Educate the workforce on issues related to improving the delivery of patient care and focus on the unique health needs of the Asian Pacific community.

BALANCE (Building Active Lifestyles Around Nutrition, Community and Exercise)

Purpose Statement: Engage and support the AtlantiCare community to achieve balance and overall well-being by promoting active and healthy lifestyles.

CAARE (Creating Accessibility, Awareness, Respect and Empowerment)

Purpose Statement: To enhance AtlantiCare’s culture of inclusion for the disabled community by leveraging unique abilities and removing barriers employees, caregivers and customers face through the healthcare continuum and employment process.

EARTH (Commitment for a sustainable future)

 AtlantiCare works to improve our community’s environmental well-being through education and engaged workforce to be good stewards to our environment, and further our commitment for a sustainable future, ensure a healthy  positive impact on the environment. We will achieve this through:

  • Modifying organizational operations and construction management processes to become more sustainable;
  • Community Engagement and accountability;
  • Ensuring an educated and committed workforce towards environmental sustainability.

HONORS (Helping our military with Navigation, Opportunity, Resources and Support)

Purpose Statement: HONORS mission is to support the goals of AtlantiCare by promoting and understanding the roles and contributions made by veteran and active duty military employees and family members.

H.O.P.E. (Helping Others Achieve Personal Excellence)

Purpose Statement: HOPE will focus exclusively on recovery from addictions. Its purpose is to provide education, awareness, support and advocacy for the needs of recovering individuals and the family/friends of those who are affected by addictions throughout the healthcare continuum in our community.

LEADS (Leadership, Education, Advocacy, Diversity, Support)

Purpose statement: Empowering women to strive for excellence in all aspects of life.

LEGACY (Leaders Empowering Generations AtlantiCare Community and You)

Purpose Statement: LEGACY will empower our workplace and community to embrace diversity and promote healthy living..

P.R.I.D.E. (Promoting Respect for Individuality and Equality) – LGBT

Purpose Statement: PRIDE engages in promoting respect for individuality, diversity and equality for the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgendered community and their families.

PATHS (Peace, Acceptance, Trust, Healing and Spirituality)

Purpose Statement: Understanding spiritual diversity to benefit collegial relationships, patients, and their families.
