Aimee M Klock, APN

When she was younger, Aimee Klock spent a lot of time volunteering at the Community FoodBank. She enjoyed the feeling she got from making a meaningful difference in other peoples’ lives.

So it should come as no surprise that she channeled that spirit into a career in medicine.

“There’s an overall feeling you get at the end of the day,” she says. “You’re thinking about your patients and how much of a difference you are making in their lives.”

Klock comes from a family of caregivers. Her mother and sister are both nurses. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Rutgers University – Camden School of Nursing. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Stockton University.

As an Advanced Practice Nurse at the AtlantiCare Cancer Care Institute, Klock cares for hematology and oncology patients as they navigate their cancer journey. This follows a career as a RN on AtlantiCare’s Progressive Cardiac Care Unit.

As a provider, her focus is on treating her patients holistically to care for the mind, body and spirit. It is important to her to build relationships with the people she cares for, learning their stories to communicate on their level.

“One of my biggest goals is making sure patients can trust me. I always try to be friendly, trustworthy and have them feel they are in good hands,” Klock says. “They’re going through something completely unexpected, so my ability to build a relationship with them is important because they’re at a point in their lives where they’re scared but I’m there for them physically and emotionally.”

Born and raised in Atlantic County, Klock is very family oriented. She enjoys the outdoors, especially the beach, dogs and taking walks.
