Nicole M Siems, DO

Having a wonderful doctor as a teenager inspired Dr. Nicole Siems towards a career in obstetrics and gynecology.
\n“My adolescent OB/GYN was my mentor. The more I learned about the specialty, the more I fell in love with it. I ended up working for him and his wife,” she recalls.
\nShe also worked in a pediatrics practice, where the compassion the physicians and team showed to children and their families was also a significant influence.
\n“In OB/GYN, we get to see the same people year in and year out and really get to know them. We share in one of the family’s most special moments, childbirth. I am blessed with positive experiences, women and girls of all ages staying well and feeling better. I feel like I’m doing something amazing,” she says.
\nBoard certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, she earned her medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Old Westbury, New York. She completed OB/GYN residency training at Mount Sinai School of Medicine – Jersey City Medical Center. She is a biomedical engineering graduate of Stevens Institute
\nof Technology, Hoboken, where she was also active in theater. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and other associations.
\nShe cares for women in pregnancy and childbirth and treats the full range of gynecological disorders, with a special interest in menstrual regularity, birth control, osteoporosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome. Her engineering background instilled an appreciation for how all the systems of the body interact, especially the relationship between women’s health and the glands of the endocrine system.
\nA native of Somerset, she spent summers in Brigantine in her youth and is looking forward to relocating to the seashore. Downtime is devoted to spending time with her husband and two young children and nourishing her
\nlifelong love of literature and theater.
