About Me
Kevin Hunter, M.D., specializes in the field of neurology, with a particular interest in caring for patients with dementia, epilepsy and sleep disorders. Dr. Hunter earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh Medical School in 1992. After medical school, he completed an internship in internal medicine at St. Francis Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and continued his training at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., with a residency in neurology. He then completed a two-year fellowship program in neurophysiology and clinical epilepsy at the National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Hunter is certified in adult neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, as well as in sleep medicine by the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Neurology. In addition, Dr. Hunter is a past recipient of the "Top Doctors" designation from New Jersey Monthly magazine, Philadelphia magazine, New Jersey Life, and Inside Jersey magazine.
