About Me
Only one day after completing a bachelor’s in health science at Stockton University, Kira began studying at The Jefferson College of Nursing in Philadelphia, where she earned her bachelor’s in nursing. She continued her studies at Jefferson while practicing as a labor and delivery nurse at AtlantiCare, graduating as a nurse practitioner in 2019.
\nShe is board certified by the National Certification Corporation. “Building off of my clinical experience as a labor and delivery nurse, I knew I wanted to further concentrate on women’s health,” she says.
\nThere is no one-size-fits-all approach in healthcare, and Kira works diligently to develop the care plan that fits each of her patient’s unique, individual needs. As a nurse practitioner with AtlantiCare Physician Group Obstetrics and Gynecology, Kira cares for a diverse patient population, providing prenatal through postpartum care. She manages
\ncomplex gynecological disorders, interprets diagnostic study results and manages medications. She links women with the resources they need, including referrals to her physician colleagues.
\nThroughout her experience, she also participated in community outreach projects, providing healthcare support to populations in need. Kira lives in Cherry Hill with her husband, an oncology research scientist.
