An evening “Rooted in Good Health” was held on October 1st, 2014 at the historic Absecon Lighthouse in Atlantic City in support of AtlantiCare’s Growing Green program. Local chefs and members of AtlantiCare’s Growing Green Chef Council joined together to present a dinner for guests focusing on healthy, seasonal and local foods.
100 guests were seated together at one table and were guided through a delicious and fun 6 course dinner by the chefs. Each chef introduced their dish as well as provided insight into why they choose to use fresh and local foods in their kitchens. Hear what they had to say…
