Sara Holder,DO, FAAFP

Aratanxa Dave, MD

Chief Resident, AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center

Aratanxa is originally from Central New Jersey and pursued her undergraduate studies at Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania, focusing on Neuroscience. Following this, she attended Ross University School of Medicine, which is now located in Barbados. Throughout her medical education, she traveled across the country for rotations before returning to New Jersey for residency at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. Here, she enjoys being in a community program where she has the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and various subspecialities.

In her new role as Chief of Education, Aratanxa's duties involve crafting the Academic Half Day schedule, ensuring comprehensive didactic sessions and interactive simulations. Her goal is to cultivate a culture of lifelong learning among residents, fostering their growth and development. Beyond her administrative responsibilities, she plans to continue her lifelong learning as a physician while also imparting her knowledge and expertise to future residents and medical students.

Sara Holder,DO, FAAFP

Mark DeSantis, DO

Chief Resident, AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center

Mark is a native of Long Island, New York. He started his academic journey at the University of Dayton where he studied Exercise Physiology. He then moved to Philadelphia, PA where he started his medical training at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). At PCOM, he completed a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Public Health followed by their Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. After graduating, he moved to the Southern Jersey Shore to start internal medicine residency at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center.

As chief resident, his responsibilities include scheduling, teaching and training the junior residents, along with other administrative duties while completing the training requirements of a third-year internal medicine resident. After residency, he intends to apply to pursue a career in gastroenterology. When not in the hospital, you can catch Mark, walking his dog, a Norwegian Elkhound named Dayton, taking a fitness class, or trying out the newest restaurants on the Jersey Shore.

Sunita Yadav, MD

Chief Resident, AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center

Originally from Delhi, India, Sunita pursued her medical education at Bharati Vidyapeeth in Pune, where she developed a solid foundation in medical sciences. Driven by her passion for internal medicine, she moved to New York City to further her career and broaden her clinical expertise.

Sunita secured a residency at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, where she quickly distinguished herself through her dedication and skill. During her residency, she worked across two campuses, treating a diverse patient population and engaging with a wide range of clinical specialties. This experience honed her ability to manage complex cases and adapt to varying medical needs.

As a chief resident, Sunita is committed to inspire and motivate her fellow residents. She places a strong emphasis on the management of chronic health conditions while also advocating for preventive care to enhance patient’s overall well-being. She is excited to mentor the incoming interns, helping them navigate the challenges of their medical training.

With a keen interest in critical care medicine, Sunita aims to specialize in this field, where she hopes to make significant contributions to patient care and outcomes.
