Food & Nutrition
ARMC’s Food and Nutrition Department is dedicated to serving you delicious and healthy food that complements your medical care. The staff work closely with your doctor to determine a diet best suited to your illness or injury, your treatment and your dietary needs.
A representative from ARMC’s Food and Nutrition Department will visit you to help you make your meal choices. If your doctor changes your diet order, the changes take effect at the next meal served after the order was changed. For additional meal selections, please ask about alternative menu choices.
Please let us know if you have special dietary needs or preferences, such as Kosher or vegetarian and if you have any food allergies.
Registered dietitians work to manage each patient’s nutrition. They are happy to meet with you about diet and nutrition needs. Please let your nurse know if you would like to meet with a dietitian.
The location of your room determines the time your meal is delivered. Generally, meal times are as follows:
- Breakfast: 7:30 – 8:45 a.m.
- Lunch: 11:45 a.m. –12:45 p.m.
- Dinner: 4:25 – 5:45 p.m.
