Women's Hygiene Products Donation
Help AtlantiCare Tackle Period Poverty
Did you Know...
- That 1 in 4 women struggled to afford period products in the past year?
- 1 in 8 women in New Jersey between the ages of 12-44 live below the poverty line?
- 1 in 3 low-income women will miss school, work or other daily life events due to the inability to pay for period products?
- There is something we can all do to help?
During the month of May, we are partnering with local businesses and organizations to raise awareness around “Period Poverty” by collecting pads, panty liners and tampons for women in need. These supplies will be donated to local community partners.
We believe that period products are essential for female hygiene and that a lack of menstrual hygiene affects all areas of health. Thank you for helping us support women to reach their full potential!
