Curriculum & Didactics
The Family Medicine Residency Program at AtlantiCare offers a variety of clinical rotations for our residents to get the very best experience throughout their training. The schedule allows for an adequate amount of elective time beginning at the end of the PGY 2 so residents can gain experience in different areas of medicine, in order to tailor their future practice to their areas of interest.
The educational curriculum (didactics) is an integral part of training at the Family Medicine Residency Program. Didactics are held every Thursday from 1pm-5pm where residents are provided interactive lectures on a variety of topics from board certified Family Medicine physicians and specialists. Residents also partake in hands-on workshops, board reviews, PICO presentations, and wellness activities during this protected time.
