Mike - Life Before Surgery
Mike didn’t develop weight issues until later on in life — and over the last 15 years, he found everyday tasks becoming more difficult. These included outdoor activities with his children and keeping up with his coworkers. As a singer for many years, Mike was also having trouble with vocal fatigue and other health problems due to his weight gain.
Following his gastric bypass procedure at AtlantiCare, Mike lost 50 pounds from his peak weight of 270. He continues to work toward his goal of shedding a total of 80 pounds.
