By combining medical and surgical expertise with a personalized approach, our Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) providers offer adult and pediatric patients excellent care, tailored to their specific needs.

 Ear Disorders

We provide care for a range of ear disorders, including those associated with:

  • Ear infection
  • Dizziness
  • Balance problems
  • Hearing loss 
  • Facial nerve problems

 Ear disorders we treat:

  • Cholesteatoma — abnormal skin growth or cyst behind the eardrum.
  • Conductive hearing loss — abnormal hearing resulting from sounds not passing through outer and middle ear. 
  • Ear wax / impacted cerumen 
  • Otosclerosis — abnormal bone growth in the middle ear.
  • Ruptured eardrum — also called tympanic membrane perforation.
  • Sensorineural hearing loss — the most common type of permanent hearing loss caused by inner-ear damage.
  • Swimmer’s ear — pain in the outer ear caused by infection, inflammation or irritation.
  • Tinnitus — often referred to as “ringing in the ears,” this is the perception of a phantom sound. 
  • Balance disorders, including:
  • Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) — the most common inner-ear problem, which causes a sensation of spinning (also called vertigo).
  • Ménière’s disease — an inner-ear disorder that causes episodic hearing loss and vertigo.
  • Vestibular neuritis (labyrinthitis) — loss of balance caused by damage to either the inner ear or balance nerve.

Patients struggling with hearing and/or balance will be referred to our Audiologists for testing and treatment. 

Nasal and Sinus Disorders

  • Allergies
  • Deviated septum / enlarged nasal turbinates  
  • Fungal sinusitis

  • Nasal obstructions that affect sleep
  • Nasal polyps
  • Sinusitis — swelling or inflammation in the sinuses.

 Functional nose surgeries we offer include:

  • Functional endoscopic sinus surgery
  • Nasal fractures
  • Nasal reconstruction
  • Deviated nasal septum repair (septoplasty)
  • Nasal turbinate reduction
  • Nasal valve collapse

We also offer facial plastic and reconstructive surgery of the nose for men, women and teens.

Throat Disorders  

  • Difficulty swallowing — also called dysphagia, it occurs when muscles and nerves in your throat aren't working correctly due to injury, inflammation, blockage or other factors.
  • Hoarseness — injury or chronic inflammation that leads to changes in the voice.
  • Laryngeal cancer— occurs when cells in the larynx grow out of control.
  • Thyroid cancer — occurs when cells in the thyroid gland within the neck grow out of control.
  • Thyroid disorders — includes overactive (hyperthyroidism) or underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism) gland, thyroid nodules and enlargement of the thyroid gland (goiter).
  • Tonsillitis — inflammation of the tonsils caused by viral or, less commonly, bacterial infection.
  • Vocal cord dysfunction — occurs when vocal cords close abnormally, resulting in breathing issues.

Our providers collaborate with speech pathologists, audiologists, clinical-surgical coordinators and medical assistants to deliver fully customized care for your specific condition.

Head and Neck Disorders

  • Endocrine cancers, including papillary thyroid carcinoma, follicular carcinoma and medullary carcinoma
  • Head and neck cancers, including cancers of the oral cavity (tongue, lips and cheeks), oropharynx (tonsils and base of the tongue), larynx (voice box and throat) and nasopharynx (nasal cavity and skull base)
  • Neck masses and lumps
  • Parathyroid disorders
  • Salivary cancers
  • Salivary disorders, including salivary gland infections, salivary gland masses, salivary gland stones
  • Skin cancers of the head, scalp and neck (basal cell cancer and squamous cell cancer, including melanomas)
  • Sleep apnea or snoring
  • Neck swelling or thyroid nodules
  • Vocal cord lesions
  • Voice box tumors
