Statement on Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Graduate Medical Education recognizes that AI is becoming increasingly used to assist students in their coursework. Any use of AI in applications to our residency programs must be clearly disclosed for all aspects of the application where it is used. Furthermore, in alignment with the Association of American Medical Colleges, the Personal Statement should reflect your personal perspective and must be your own work and not the product of AI.

For the 2024-2025 ERAS cycle, our program will be participating to receive information from the supplemental ERAS application offered through the AAMC's ERAS program.  Applicants will be required to complete the MyERAS application, and participation in the supplemental ERAS application is optional.  The supplemental ERAS application is designed to help students share more information about themselves and assist our program in finding applicants that fit our programs' setting and mission.  There is no cost to applicants and participation is optional.

The supplemental ERAS application includes:

  • geographic preferences (by region and by urban or rural setting);
  • information about your most meaningful experiences and other impactful life events, if applicable; and
  • program signals

This supplemental ERAS application will be delivered on August 1st on a survey platform that is separate from the MyERAS application.   The supplemental ERAS application must be completed between August 1st and September 16th at 5:00 pm ET.

Please bookmark the supplemental ERAS application section of the AAMC website to find the latest information, FAQs, and resources.
