What is Telemedicine and its benefits?
With telemedicine, you can see an AtlantiCare provider via your cell phone, tablet, or desktop computer. You can see a provider without having to drive to an in-person visit—virtual visits are a convenient way to see a provider from wherever you are located.
What types of care are available with telemedicine?
AtlantiCare offers telemedicine visits for many services from primary to specialty care.
How does telemedicine work?
First
Book with a provider here or call 888-569-1000. You’ll see the providers that offer telemedicine appointments.
Second
Once we’ve confirmed your telemedicine appointment, you’ll receive a link via email and/or text message to meet with a provider using your personal computer, tablet or smartphone.
Third
When it’s time for your appointment, use the link you were provided and follow these instructions (en español) to begin the visit. If you need help connecting or need to reschedule, please refer to your email invitation and call your provider’s office or 1-888-569-1000.
