Aquatics

AquaFit  

Appropriate for all fitness levels. This aqua class combines one hour of cardio and strength training movements utilizing all the properties of water to keep your joints safe and still give you a great workout.

AquaBox   

Intermediate to advanced fitness level. This high impact, high cardio aqua class will get your heart rate up and challenge your ability and your knowledge of boxing and karate. Come prepared to move and kick-it-up in this full hour class!

Aqua Intervals   

Appropriate for all fitness levels. This one hour aqua class combines bursts of cardio and endurance training along with strength training using foam barbells. This class will help you to maintain the muscle mass that is lost with age and keep you fit and tone.

Aqua Boot Camp

Intermediate to advanced fitness level. This full hour, high energy aqua class is packed with intense cardio and endurance moves that will challenge even the best of you!

AquaCise/Sculpt

Get into the swim of things with this stress free workout. The buoyancy of the water will make this total body workout easy on the joints, intense on the muscle groups while enabling positive muscle strengthening to the lower back muscles. This workout also gives excellent cardio and endurance training.

Aqua YO-PI-CHI

Relax and stretch in the warm water therapy pool performing moves with a mixture of Yoga, Pilates, and Tai Chi. This class is easy your joints and will have you leave feeling refreshed to conquer the next day. This class is appropriate for all fitness levels

 

Mind, Body and Spirit

Yoga

Explore gentle movements to increase flexibility, strength and well-being. Students are led through stretches, yoga postures and breathing practices, and then guided into deep relaxation. Ideal for those members with chronic pain or stress, those returning from illness or injury, or anyone who would like a gentle approach to practicing yoga.

Senior Light Yoga

A gentle, yet energizing program of yoga exercises and breathing, designed for Seniors, M.S. sufferers, or anyone who wants to work on flexibility and strength, without standing for long periods or sitting on the floor.

Yoga Power

Emphasis on deepening awareness of the body, and understanding of alignment principles. Should be able to perform the Sun Salutation series. Movements are more flowing than in beginning classes. Knowledge of the basic poses is assumed, with posture variations and breathing practices to help you deepen your experience.

Pilates/Core

Pilates is a great way to get started or as a to compliment your existing exercises routine - for it builds stamina and endurance. The 60 min class consists of isometric exercises using your own body weight as resistance. Props such as the ring or arm or leg weights may be used to intensify the workout - You will be taught the fundamentals of Pilates at a pace that will encourage you to learn more! You will increase muscle strength and flexibility, correct your posture, and create body awareness.

Tai Chi/Chi Kung

This guided class is the practice of an ancient Asian system of health and self-development. Slow circular, repetitive movements invoke inner peace and well being.  Learn to cultivate & manage a high grade of energy while building strength and awareness. Chi Kung is said to improve bone density and naturally detoxify the body and mind.

Group Fitness

Push It!

Advanced step workout.  The focus of this class is to "push" the body to the max!  The class incorporates the step and some light free weights into an aerobic workout intended to burn calories and make you sweat!

Pump-n-Step

All fitness levels.  This class will get your heart rate up and do the same thing for the muscles of the body.  An emphasis on muscle toning, proper movements and forms will be stressed.  The class will use medicine balls, body bars, free weights and dumbbells to strengthen the body. The last 15 minutes of class will be devoted to working the abs and glutes!

30-30-30

A 90 minute total body workout. 30 minutes of aerobics using weights, followed by 30 minutes of muscle works using weights and body bars and 30 minutes of abs & glutes incorporating the exercise ball and free weights.  A 90 minute morning workout so you can RELAX the rest of the weekend!!!

Cardio Sculpt/Abs

Endurance training incorporating a mixture of steps, cardio and weight bearing moves which enables you to increase your metabolism, bone density  and aerobic capacity. Ending with a emphasis on strengthening your core.

Bodycut

It is the group barbell program that challenges every major muscle in your body.  Ten stationary routines using weights and music strengthen and tone in record time. Repetitions boost your endurance and speed up your metabolism for rapid fat burning enhancing confidence and well being.

Senior Cardio Light

A low intensity level of aerobics, strength training and stretching conducted either standing or in a chair depending on your fitness level using bands.

Cardio Blast/Abs

This class is designed for both the intermediate and advanced levels. The class incorporates step, yoga-Strength moves and free weights to provide a total body workout for all fitness levels.

Cardio Kick-n-Step

This class is designed for both the intermediate and advanced levels. The class incorporates step, yoga-Strength moves, free weights and Kick Boxing to provide a total body workout for all fitness levels.

Zumba

Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow you to dance away your worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO".

Senior Rhythm Fit

A low intensity class designed to minimize the impact on your joints to help increase your overall aerobic capacity, balance, increase your range of motion and overall flexibility as well as strengthen your core.

Operation BootCamp

Welcome to “Brian’s Army” where the word “I can’t” is not in this classes vocabulary. Brian will mix in basic calisthenic moves to enhance your strength training as well as laps around the track to increase your overall cardiovascular capacity. 

Cardio Boxing/Abs

Experience cardio kicking with endurance training while learning how to defend yourself with a mixture kick boxing and mixed martial art moves. This class is for novice to experts and will also an emphasis using your core muscles.

Arthritis Land

A low impact strength training class using bands and your own body weight to help increase your overall strength, bone density, balance flexibility and metabolism
