Massage
The LifeCenter encourages you to add massage therapy to your health and wellness routine. According to the American Masage Therapy Association, a growing body of research supports the health benefits of massage therapy for conditions such as stress, fibromyalgia, low-back pain and more. Thirty and sixty minute sessions are available to both members and non-members.
Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing. It is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
During your Reiki session, our Certified Medical Reiki Master Practitioner gently places hands on or above your body, creating a space for universal energy healing to flow and clear away unwanted, stagnant energy in order to create an inner sense of peace, security, and relaxation. Thirty and sixty minute sessions are available to both members and non-members.
Meditation
Meditation is a wellness practice that focuses on awareness, mindfulness, and relaxation. It can help improve your emotional wellness and its benefits carry with you beyond the actual meditation session. However, it takes practice and we’re here to help! Join us for this 30 minute class held monthly to learn various meditation techniques to incorporate into your daily routine.
Aromatherapy by Harmony Place
The use of aromatic plants as part of herbal medicine dates back thousands of years and has a worldwide history. Essential oils from plants have been used to promote relaxation, encourage healing, relieve pain, and more through a variety of modalities. During your personal consultation with a Certified Clinical Aromatherapy Practitioner (CCAP), you will learn practical ideas for using essential oils in your own life based on your health needs. Thirty and sixty minute sessions are available to both members and nonmembers.
Wellness Coaching
Wellness is multi-dimensional and no one area is more important than another. We often focus on physical wellness, but don’t put the same time or effort into ensuring our other wellness needs are met. Wellness Coaching is for individuals who are interested in improving their overall wellness or just need that little extra motivation to make those important changes.
During 3 sessions with a Certified Wellness Coach, you’ll discover how to improve and identify your personal wellness behaviors and live a life that aligns with your goals and values promoting long-term health habits. Wellness coaching is available to both members and non-members.
