Assumption Regional Catholic School is dedicated to nurturing the development of all its students. The Sensory Cart aligns perfectly with Assumption’s mission, ‘to create, inspire, and nurture’, offering a sanctuary for students to manage sensory inputs and emotions. The Sensory Cart allows students to retreat and practice mindfulness, aiding in emotional regulation. The Sensory Cart offers a plethora of sensory tools and manipulatives, including weighted vests, blankets, and more. These items will help students manage feelings of anxiety and frustration, fostering emotional growth.

Our staff will be able to 'rent out’ sensory tools to bring to their classroom or be able to visit the preschool and kindergarten lobby, where the sensory cart will live. This area for emotional and sensory regulation enhances our students’ overall well-being, preparing them for a lifetime of learning.
