AtlantiCare’s full-service midwifery program provides a holistic complement to traditional OB/GYN care. Our large and diverse team of certified nurse midwives have been providing personalized well-woman services, from routine gynecological care to reproductive healthcare, in southeastern New Jersey for 30 years. Here, you will find a midwife who is your advocate at all stages of life.

Our program is one of the most established `1`in the region, and our team continues to grow, with more than 225 years of combined experience in caring for women. Our care team members are as diverse as the patients we serve and are dedicated to connecting with patients, making sure they feel comfortable and building trust to become a long-term partner in care.

Childbirth and so much more.

For patients who are pregnant, our midwives provide prenatal care and work closely with them to understand your unique needs. Midwives specialize in laboring mothers who prefer unmedicated births. But, if medication is requested, they can help patients choose which is best. When the time comes, their focus is on supporting patients through their labor to facilitate a normal vaginal delivery, with as little intervention as safely possible. Our midwives offer patients continuous, around-the-clock care during labor and delivery, and also manage their postpartum treatment.

But childbirth is just the beginning — AtlantiCare’s midwives serve women of all ages who want an alternative to traditional OB/GYN care. Combining the therapeutic value of human presence, skillful communication and technology to promote health and healing, our midwives support women at any and every stage of life — from puberty to childbirth to menopause and beyond.
