Healing Arts
AtlantiCare's Healing Arts program is a unique initiative, designed to showcase original artwork. Research has shown that the arts can reduce stress during waiting, reduce patient anxiety, improve the working environment for healthcare providers and enhance the patient-visitor experience. Art can even reduce pain.

Healthy Schools, Healthy Children
Research clearly demonstrates a strong correlation between healthy children and positive academic performance levels. AtlantiCare's Healthy Schools, Healthy Children program partners with local schools to help ensure a healthier future for students with fitness, nutrition and wellness programming.

Mission HealthCare
Seven percent of the residents in Atlantic County are homeless (no permanent address), and more than 60 percent of these people have no form of healthcare. AtlantiCare Mission HealthCare works with underinsured and uninsured homeless population to manage health issues, as well as prevent, diagnose and/or treat illnesses early to avoid need for emergency services, and provides outpatient detoxification for drug and alcohol addictions.
