As part our observance of Maternal Health Awareness Day (Jan. 23), we are sharing a series of videos discussing the work of The Black Infant and Maternal Mortality Task Force of Atlantic City. New Jersey was the first state dedicated to raising awareness of maternal health, safety and mortality issue, and it’s an important focus of the work we do in service to our community. Tune in and then join the conversation on social media using hashtag #123forMOMS.
Whether you are pregnant or looking to get pregnant, your maternity and childbirth care team will ensure you and your baby’s health, safety and comfort from pregnancy through delivery and beyond.
Visit Our Maternity PageThe BIMM Task Force was formed a few years ago to take action, create tools and strategies, as well as educate about the national and local crisis of maternal and infant mortality rates among women and babies of color. This year, we sponsored this 4-part mini-series that is perfect to share in celebration of Maternal Health Awareness. Names of speakers announced in each series.
