Community Needs Assessment

Building on our Vision

AtlantiCare strives to help each member of our community achieve optimal health. To do this, we seek to better understand the highest-priority health concerns of our population as well as the areas of unmet needs within our community. Every three years, AtlantiCare engages in a comprehensive Community Health Needs Assessment of Atlantic County. Our most recent assessment was completed in 2025. Previous assessments were conducted and made available in 2013, 2016, 2019, and 2022. In addition to the assessment, AtlantiCare also compiles an Implementation Plan in response to the assessment’s findings to document our intended actions toward meeting the stated needs of our community.
